Two copper engravings featuring the important harbor at Acapulco. First (6 x 7.5") is by J.N. Bellin, circa 1755. It is a small plan of the walled fort, town and bay of Acapulco with numerous soundings in the bay. Table locates fourteen features on plan. Fleur-de-lis orients the map with north at left. Second (14.5 x 8") is a map showing the location of Acapulco on the coastline with compass calculations. From a Dutch edition of Anson's Voyage around the World.
