A handsome, double-page map that is completely filled with information. Details numerous named railroads, cities and towns, counties and county seats, the watershed and lakes. Large inset: "Entrance to Mobile Bay. From Charts of the U.S. Coast Survey" includes soundings and locates Pelican Island and bay. Extensive legend and tables give the location of canals, light houses, light ships, along with survey and statistical information on the state including historical population.
