Group of very decorative portraits of some the of most important people in the development of the vast British Empire. Each portrait is beautifully engraved and surrounded in an elaborate border. Includes Captain James Cook, Sir Francis Drake, Sir Walter Raleigh, William Pitt - Earl of Chatham, Horatio Viscount Nelson, Sir Joseph Banks, Prince Rupert, King Charles the Second, Queen Anne, Admiral Lord Hawke, and Francis Bacon.
