Fine small map based largely on the work of Hernicus Hondius, with the typical geography of the 16th and early 17th centuries. Delicate title cartouche. Engraved by Abraham Goos for Jansson's editions of this popular miniature atlas.

Attractive original color. Unobtrusive stain at center. Light damp stain in blank margin, well away from map. Margin extended to accommodate framing.
