Fully engraved and detailed plan of Limburg and vicinity depicted during one of many a battles during the Eighty Years' War. The walled city is perched on a hill and shows individual buildings, towers and battlements. Attacking forces are shown across the river. A legend locates 8 buildings in the city. Decorative cartouche features two soldiers with spear and musket. View of a battle in lower portion of map.
