Matched pair of maps, the first showing the railroad system in 1909 (43.5 x 43.5"), the latter in 1910 (41 x 21.5"). Amazing detail throughout both maps, with the latter being even more colorful. Both cover the western half of the U.S. to Lake Michigan and well into Mexico. The related steam ship routes are shown as well.

Remarkable condition for maps of this age and size. Both have a few fold intersection splits and an occasional trace of toning. Small hole on border of 1909 sheet, else very good.
