Three nice, hand colored, wood engravings from this important British newspaper. Indians of the Far West (1858) is a full-page (14 x 9.7") with six separate views from Emory's Mexican Boundary Survey. North American Indians Attacking a Mail Coach by R.C. Woodville (1885) is a double-page (17.2 x 13.2"). This is a fabulous night scene filled with action. The Denver and Rio Grande Railway is a full-page (9 x 13") with five scenes along the railway including the Pueblo of Taos.
