Maps of the world plus the moon, two star and solar charts, two hemispheres, two polar maps and a beautifully detailed map of the Straits of Gibraltar including large insets of Gibraltar and Ceuta. Eight maps of the Americas, thematic maps and much more. All maps dated 1871 or 1872. All maps with blank verso. Superbly detailed with many fine insets as is typical of Stieler. Nice example of this atlas. Original quarter-calf binding.
