Nice pair of maps engraved by Blondeau. The map of North America shows a virtually blank western region with a R. de l'Ouest nearly connecting the Mississippi with the Pacific. Quivira is located in present-day Utah and Albion in Southern California. The United States are confined east of the Mississippi. The map of South America is quite simple with little detail. Sizes vary slightly.
