A very decorative map of the region of northern France including the cities of Dunkerque, Calais, Lille and Cambrai with good detail of the roads. Decorative title cartouche within map. The map is flanked by two columns of French text and surrounded by a wide rococo-style frame with a military theme. The map (12.7 x 9") and decorative border were printed from two separate plates and assembled with the text for this beautiful atlas. Map fully colored, cartouche and decorative border uncolored.
