A beautiful sea chart of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Newfoundland and the Grand Banks. There is incredible detail throughout including a table of latitude and longitude and several notes. Several French exploration routes are traced. This appears to be an unrecorded state when compared to Kershaw, falling between 5 and 6. The cartouche contains the Depot de la Marine symbol with the fleur-de-lis, number 310 outside top-right neatline, and Prix Deux Francs; probably published circa 1808.
