This nice map of the Americas also includes a good bit of western Europe and Africa. The unusual northwest coast of America includes Straat van Martin d'Aguilarde, which provides for a Northwest Passage through a river and lake system to the Great Lakes. The northwest is virtually blank with a notation concerning the Russian explorations in 1743. The European colonies are shown by dotted lines extending to the Mississippi River. Simple title cartouche and nice compass rose.
