These beautiful collotype illustrations are from a report by Dr. Jesse W. Fewkes on his archeological expedition to Arizona in 1895. Fewkes was one of the first archeologists to study the early Native American cultures of the American Southwest. Each plate features pottery discovered during the expedition. These are really beautiful framed. Map shows the Hopi Mesas and the location of the archeological digs.
