Globe Celeste depicts a celestial globe set upon a beautifully engraved base, also within a classical landscape. Sphere is composed entirely of bands representing the Equator, Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer and the Poles and is set upon a wall viewed by toga-clad scholars. Rose des Vents ou Compasis a decorative description of a 32-point compass rose with a nautical scene in the background and figures with cartographic tools in the foreground. All with French text on verso, published by N. Chemereau.
