Copper engraved map of Africa that includes Arabia, the Canary and Cape Verde Islands as well as several other Atlantic islands and the coastline of Brazil. Also includes Madagascar and many islands in the Indian Ocean. Reissue of an earlier map with more detail in the interior, much of it still spurious. The Nile originates in two large lakes. Cartouche in wreath style. Engraved by A. d' Winter.
