Superb engraving with a group of beautiful young women and an angel studying geography and history. It appears that Father Time has abducted one of the girls and is taking her to heaven where a pantheon of ancient gods awaits in the clouds. The engraving is attributed to B. Picart and dated 1720.

Very light scattered foxing, confined to blank margins. Otherwise very good.
