Great copper-engraved map of the Russian Empire in both Europe and Asia. The map extends to include Japan and much of China. Two decorative cartouches, one showing Anna I Ivanovna Romanov, Empress of Russia, who reigned from 1730-40. The title cartouche shows a bear hunt in progress.
