Very finely detailed map covering the heart of Asia from present-day Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, through to Japan. The map is beautifully engraved to feature the topography as well as political detail. Nice original color in pastel shades.

Two closed splits on centerfold just into map, a few tears and chips along edges, well away from image. Light offsetting.
