Small sea chart of Cumberland Bay, on the northeast side of Juan Fernandez Island. This island was made famous by Daniel Defoe's novel Robinson Crusoe as the island upon which he was marooned. This map is topped by a view of the same bay. Decorative cartouche and compass rose with fleur-de-lys.
