Lot steel-engraved maps including 6 of southern states, 6 of eastern and New England states, 4 of central states and 6 city plans. Three duplicates (Kentucky & Tennessee, Iowa, and Savannah [on sheet with] Charleston). All are in original color and feature Colton's decorative strapwork borders. All maps are approximately the same size. Eastern maps: Delaware and Maryland, Pennsylvania, Colton's Connecticut with Portions of New York & Rhode Island, Colton's Vermont, Colton's Maine, and Colton's New York (double page). Southern states: North Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky and Tennessee, Colton's South Carolina, and Colton's Kentucky and Tennessee. Central states: Iowa, Missouri, another Iowa, Colton's Kansas and Nebraska (d.p.). City plans: Savannah [on sheet with] Charleston (2 copies), Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh [on sheet with] Cincinnati, St. Louis [on sheet with] Chicago.
