Partial atlas with 39 of 48 called for maps. Missing the World, France, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Sweden and Norway, China, both United States maps and the West India Island map. Double-page plates, highly detailed lithographs with some sparse outline color. All maps interleaved with index pages. Published by William Blackwood and Sons. Original quarter brown morocco over gilt-stamped green cloth. Green end papers.

Binding rubbed, abraded and bumped. One leather panel on spine detached, but present. Scattered foxing to first few pages. All maps fine.
