This is the northern sheet of Delisle's important map of the Russian Empire. The map is centered on Moscow and provides great detail of the towns, roads, forests and topography. The map is decorated with a nice title cartouche featuring a sleigh, coat of arms, animals and a hunter.

Old repairs to a tear just left of bottom centerfold extending 2" into map and one in the bottom blank margin, with a few binding holes, else very good.
