This is a large vellum leaf from a Spanish manuscript, probably a legal document, made in Granada circa 1628. The Spanish text is written in black ink on lines ruled in red. Verso is beautifully decorated with a very large (11-line) initial "C" in gold leaf on a ground of rich blue.

Remnants of brown hinge tape in top margin, else fine.
