Original MANUSCRIPT map of the continent depicting the political divisions, rivers, and capital cities of each country. The title is in beautiful calligraphy attributing its origin to Standard Hill Academy, Midsummer 1850, and signed Edward Hurst. The map is finely drawn in ink and hand-colored with watercolor. Standard Hill Academy was located in Nottingham, England.
