First is a nice copper engraved map of the eastern part of North Carolina filled with interesting detail and showing early settlements. "Old Boundary Line of South Carolina" is noted. Numerous counties are named but boundaries are not delineated. The map appears to be based on Henry Mouzon's 1778 foundation map of the region. Small title cartouche. Second is a little map engraved by W. Barker and probably issued in Carey' pocket atlas.
