A hemisphere depicting the Old World is suspended above a scene of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, which is teeming with life. At the bottom, scenes from the Bible are depicted including: Eve offering the apple to Adam, Noah's Ark, Abraham offering his son, Jonah and the whale, the birth of Christ, The Last Supper, and the Crucifixion. Centered at the bottom is Gods Lamb (John 1:30).
