This lovely view shows several outrigger canoes with the island of Tahiti in the background. Created by W. Hodges, engraved by W. Watts, and published by William Strahan and Thomas Cadell. This view was published in a contemporary account of Cook's second voyage on the ships Resolution and Adventure from 1772-75.

This view depicts Nomuka, an island within the Kingdom of Tonga. Cook visited Nomuka on his third voyage and spent some time there gathering food and supplies. This view shows provisions being piled up and carried to boats, which then ferried the materials to Cook's ships. Drawn by John Webber, the official artist of Cook's third voyage, and engraved by William Byrne.

This sheet presents three early maps from the explorations of Capt. Cook in New Zealand. The main chart depicts Cook’s discoveries of Mercury Bay and the Hauraki Bay at Auckland, New Zealand with soundings, anchorages, and other navigational data. The two smaller charts show ‘Pte. Pocock’, just north of Whangarei, and ‘Baye de Tolaga’, north of Gisborne.
