    Interesting folio sheet with a central engraved panel containing a twin celestial hemisphere map, armillary sphere, small double hemisphere terrestrial map (with the Island of California) and several diagrams of the solar system and planets. Flanked with panels of French text concerning the various solar system theories of Ptolemy, Tycho Brahe and Copernicus.

Condition Description: A crisp impression with minor toning and light soiling.
