This superb and uncommon engraving depicts Joseph's 11 brothers throwing him into an empty well prior to selling him as a slave to some traveling Midianites.

References:

Condition: B+

A sharp impression on a bright sheet with manuscript red-lining around the engraving and a repaired tear in the title below the engraving. Remargined at right and left. There are some tiny tears along the edges of the sheet.
