This is the handsome title page to the third part of the French translation of Wyfliet's landmark atlas, the first to be entirely devoted to maps of the New World. The title is surrounded by an elegant architectural structure and flanked by figures representing the four continents - Asia and Europe at left, and Americas and Africa at right. Above the title, two putti with fronds stand on opposite sides of an elaborate coat of arms. Published in Douay by Francois Fabry.
