Published by the B.F. Goodrich Rubber Company, this guidebook for Northern California describes 71 routes for motorists with small strip maps amongst the driving directions and an index map. Goodrich states in the foreword that it was "distributed for the purpose of facilitating touring - of providing more compact and convenient directions for the traveler and adding still more to the meaning of GOODRICH SERVICE." 72 pages with small map of San Francisco on the title page and pictorial wrappers. One of a series of early Goodrich auto travel guides with additional route books covering both Central and Southern California.

Contents are mostly clean with a bit of dampstaining along the fore-edge. Front wrapper has a small tear and there is some light soiling and staining on both wrappers.
