This decorative oval map of the northern province of Artois is embellished with title and scale cartouches and set within an elaborate scrolled border. It was most likely engraved by Abraham Goos who also published this plate in his Nieuw Nederlandtsch Caertboeck. Latin text on verso. This is a variant with "cum privileg." beneath the title cartouche.
