This important map covers most of Mexico through the Gulf of Panama and includes parts of Cuba and Florida. It is finely engraved to show major cities, rivers and lakes. The Spanish colonial audiencias are delineated with dotted lines. Engraved by Somer and embellished with a bold title cartouche.

Condition: A

A nice impression with attractive color on watermarked paper with marginal soiling. What appears as centerfold toning in the image is actually show-through of the backstrap; the only toning is along the edges of the sheet.
