Antique Maps, Charts, Atlases and Globes for Sale at Auction

This huge folio atlas is nearly three inches thick. Hardbound in green cloth with silver stamped title on cover and spine, 774 pp. The complete atlas contains a huge number of maps and plans, most double page and most printed on one side only. The double page maps are printed on a folded single sheet and tipped into the binding in the earlier style. The maps and plates cover the U.S. states, cities and countries of the world including a large number of U.S. city plans.

The maps are very good to fine. Contents generally very good but a few early pages are showing their edges. Covers are a little rubbed and soiled or stained.
