Title on cover continues, "Containing Thirty-Four Maps, Arranged on the Inductive Plan." This atlas is scarce, we find only a few examples in institutions including one in the Baskes collection. Contains 32 hand colored miniature maps covering the states and territories, and the rest of the world. Maps engraved by G. Boynton. Two b&w pictures are listed, Western and Eastern Hemisphere, as seen from space; the Eastern Hemisphere is missing. Printed paper covers, 44 pages, 33 of 34 maps, text, 8vo. Published and sold by A. & E. Picket. With Goodrich's copyright notice from Massachusetts. No prior pricing information found.

Map and text with scattered foxing and occasional stain. Covers with some stains. Pencil on inside blank page and on the verso of some maps. Contents tight. The last two maps are actually pictures of the hemispheres with the final page "Picture of the Eastern Hemisphere" missing.
