This large and very comprehensive atlas is comprised of 82 single-page and 42 double-page maps. Each map has political and population statistics in the margins, and many feature insets and important facts. This atlas is the same as the Indexed Atlas, with single-page maps measuring 9.2 x 12.5". It has 17 U.S. city plans including New Orleans, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Also included are numerous charts, tables, diagrams, descriptions of all parts of the world, hundreds of photos and engravings, world history, etc. 336 pages. Complete. Folio. Hardbound in original green cloth with embossed gilt and black title on front and black title on spine.

Text and maps generally fine with a bit of soiling and toning. Covers lightly shelf worn with bumped corners and worn spine. Hinges are cracked and starting to separate, and binding is loose.
