A decorative map extending south from about Piombino and Abruzzo, and includes Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily. Vignettes show Benevento, Naples and Vesuvius, the Carnival, the statue of the Dying Gaul, and the Festival of the Vintage. The illustrations were by A. H. Wray, and engraved by J. Rogers. J. Rapkin drew and engraved the map.
