Beautiful view of the port city with Mt. Pelee figuring prominently in the background. The scene shows men in rowboats shuttling to and from the several large ships moored in the harbor. Engraved by Fortier after art by C. Garneray. The view combines etching and engraving techniques.

The view has some faint, uneven toning and tape remnants on verso.
