Superb large map of Hispaniola with a sizable inset of Martinique. The nicely detailed map covers the area to include the tip of Cuba and the Bahamas. The map is decorated by a grand decorative title cartouche and scale of miles.

Condition: C+
Some worm-holing along the centerfold has been repaired with paper and archival tape on front and back. Additional wormholes in the cartouche and in margins. There are a few archival tape reinforcements to some of the wormholes on verso. The map also has an extraneous fold and a spot. The impression is very crisp and the paper is nice and bright, with full, wide margins.
