An evocative title page with angelic figures mapping the world, while a classical muse stands by with a telescope and a compass. The top of the map is balanced with a pair of putti holding the banner title, while below Apollo in his sun-chariot greets a personification of the North Star as night passes into day. Drawn by Preister and engraved by Andr. Hoffer.
