Deftly engraved map of the Iberian Peninsula extending to the Balearic islands and the northern top of Africa. The map is filled with charming pictorial topography and many placenames. The splendid cartouche features a representation of Spain and Portugal above two globes of the hemispheres supported by angels. The globe of the Western Hemisphere shows the island of California.

A superb impression on a strong sheet with folds as issued.
