Very decorative map after Visscher describing the Apostle Paul's travels by boat from Jerusalem to Rome showing the region from Sicily to the Persian Gulf. Graphic panels across the top and bottom depict 26 events from the Book of Acts, and the sea is filled with tiny ships and a compass rose. German text on verso.

The map has been professionally backed with very fine tissue, reinforcing the narrow margins. The engraving has some uneven areas of printing.
