Interesting woodblock Ptolemaic map showing the major cities and regions. The small map is on a full sheet of German text (8.25 x 13.3") including a decorative capital. On the verso is a very interesting woodcut illustration of a woman kneeling in front of a monstrous chimera with the heads of a lion, snake and eagle.
