Bold map of Baja and the American Southwest reflecting the recent explorations of the Jesuits including Father Kino. The interior near today's southern Arizona has places named including Casa Grande, the Gila River and San Xavier de Bac. Along the Pacific are the cities of San Diego, Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas. Numerous, oversized islands are shown along both coasts of the Baja Peninsula.

Condition: B

Slightly uneven later color with some staining along centerfold with some weakness that has been reinforced on the verso with tissue. A few chips in the blank margins.
