Copper engraved sheet of 192 maritime flags of nations and independent provinces. Along the bottom are an additional seven pennants noted in primary colors. For no apparent reason only about 1/3 of the flags are colored.

With old or original coloring on a sheet of hand laid paper with full margins and large circular watermark. A few spots, else very good. Fine manuscript contemporary hand has added in upper margin the national flag of Belgium in light brown ink.
