This detailed and beautifully drawn map shows all the roads surveyed in the Highlands from 1790 onward. A legend at lower left provides an explanation of symbols displayed; roads and bridges (made, under contract and under consideration), military roads, post offices, etc. Ordered by the House of Commons.

Lovely impression and coloring on thick paper with original margins. Issued folding.
