Delicately engraved map showing the furthest west county development to Gillespie county. Good detail throughout including numerous trails and wagon roads, forts, springs, watershed, exploration routes, and Indian tribes. Filled with place names including Austin City, San Antonio de Bexar, Dallas, and Houston. Includes part of a very sparsely settled New Mexico and Indian Territory.

Full, original margins with some marginal foxing, map is fine.
