Two copper engravings depicting the Native Americans of Virginia. First (6.5 x 5") is an uncolored engraving of a religious ceremony on a full sheet of Dutch text from "De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weereld of Beschryving van America" by Montanus, published in 1671.Second (8.2 x 12.5") is a hand colored engraving depicting two deities from an account of the first English settlement by John Smith, engraved by B. Picart, 1721.
