Steel engraved world map produced to celebrate the explorations of the 1770's by Captain James Cook. The complete path of the three voyages throughout the world are shown by different style engraved lines with dates. With a well rendered vignette of Cook's ship Endeavour. The continents are hand colored in outline. Decorative border with vignettes of native weapons.

Toned along centerfold. Good margins for this issue. Some marginal toning with a little chipping in lower margins.
