Splendid map of the whole Iberian peninsula and the Balearic islands, with an amusing note berating the publishers of other "inaccurate" maps "put out by Ignorant Pretenders." Huge title cartouche incorporating the coats of arms, a decorative dedication to John Duke of Argilies, and scale of miles embellish this detailed, attractive map. Two sheet joined, as issued.

Remargined at bottom with facsimile of neatline and some repairs along folds.
